SNOW!! :)

Wow! I am baffled and so excited! :) I went to sleep last night with snow falling... and woke up this morning thinking it would all be melting by then.... and to my surprise... there was still snow falling! So I put three layers of pants and sweaters on Tory (she is pretty immobile in her coat and freaks out when I put on a cap *smile*) and myself and we headed out to explore this new spectacle.  She was pretty unsure of what she thought of the cold, wet stuff (but SO pretty!)  I think it might take a couple more years for her to discover all the fun she can have in the snow! :)

Wow! Estoy tan emocionada! :)  Me dormí anoche con nieve cayendo . .

Christmas Tree!! 07

So... tried out the whole video thing, and it didn't work... oh well... I'll try again later.  But, here we are putting up our first, very own Christmas tree!  It was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of our Thanksgiving get together... but Paul and Michele came over from Seattle, and we had a FEAST at Grandma/pa's.  Zack hung out with us at home, and we all played Settlers of Catan (oh, yeah!) and the "train game" into the wee hours of 11:00pm (late when you have to get up at 6:30am, you know!).  I try not to leave the Christmas tree lights on all the time... but it is just so pretty! :)

Miss Climber Train

It's amazing!! Blogger all of the sudden has made things available to my mac now!! Yippee!! I can write in different colors now (though I still can't change the font), and I can add videos with blogger now too!! wo-hoo!  Okay... so anyway... Tory... my climber... yes.  First of all, I made a train for Tory out of boxes... as you can see.  It was meant to be for HER to pull her dolls around in... but, no. SHE wanted to be pulled around too!  :) hee, hee.  She had more fun pulling off all the papers I had cut and taped on than anything else.  Didn't last for very long, but she had fun anyway.  Then, yes, as you can see, Tory made it into the bathtub and managed to turn on the water before I got to her - fully clothed!  And she also loves to help mommy with the laundry... and she loves to climb into the dryer too (especially when I turn it on! NO!! I'm kidding!).  The last picture is one Edwin snapped of her climbing in between the couch and my warm, cozy back! :)

NO!! Mentira!! :)

Fall and video overload

Well, I have a few things going on here.... :) First, leftover pictures (and one video) of when Lisa and Reagan were visiting and we went to Seattle to visit Paul and Michele... and we went to a SALVADORAN restaurant! Oh yeah! Lisa also got to see a friend from her college days way back when... ;) hee, hee. (Okay, so not as way back as me...) Then, we got some pictures of Tory helping Daddy rake the leaves, and some more at the park... she was, and is, fascinated by birds or airplanes and always stops whatever she's doing to point them out to us. Then, she has also discovered (oops!) the x-box and sesame street (tv!) and is always going over to the box and pointing at it.... what else?? Oh... she plays peek-a-boo anywhere! :) And she loves to sing "Head, shoulders, knees, and toes . . . " I also had a short clip of that... but three were enough for today! :)

Reagan visits (oh, and aunt Lisa, too!) :)

Wow! What a wonderful, painful (for the sickies), joyful, and comical time we had! :) My sister, Lisa, and her daughter, Reagan (who is only 3 weeks younger than Tory) came to visit for 2 weeks! Her first week here, Tory got a high fever and an infection in her sinuses, giving her a swollen eye! My brother, Paul, and his wife, Michele, also came down for a weekend while Lisa was here and we went pumpkin hunting... :) The following week was a lot better for Tory... her eye calmed down and now she was ready to kiss and love on her cousin... even share her toys! :) They were also able to dress up for Halloween together! Since they would be in bed by the time it was time to Trick or Treat, we dressed them up during the whole day instead. :) Reagan was a fairy/ballerina and Tory was Little Red Riding Hood. It was SO much fun having them visit. Thank you, once more, Lisa, for coming! It was so special... and thank you, Todd, for letting us have her for so long... :) We miss you... Tory looks into your bedroom... looking for her favorite playmate... :) We love you!!

Wow! . . :) Las queremos mucho!
