Christmas in the air

Tory was so excited to get our tree up that she figured out how to put up the main stick by herself... :) Edwin worked hard figuring out the lights and Natalia had a ball sitting with him. Since then we have been enjoying Christmasy things, such as going to see the Nutcracker, for the first time ever; Edwin got to ice-skate!; we have gone to see the *Dancing Lights*, as Tory calls them; we have also enjoyed putting up a new Chrism every day on a felt tree on the wall. Every day is a new image of a Name for Jesus, such as The Good Shepherd, The Sun of Righteousness, The Living Water, etc. The last Chrism is put up on Christmas day. Tory has fun picking out where she wants to place the Chrism on the felt tree each day. :)
Tory estaba tan emocionada de poner el árbol que averiguó cómo poner el poste principal ella solita... :) Edwin trabajó duro averiguando las luces y Natalia disfrutó estar junto a él. Desde entonces hemos disfrutado hacer muchas cosas navideñas, tal como..... Tory y yo fuimos a ver un balet llamado El Cascanueces por la primera vez en mi vida, Edwin fue a patinar en hielo con unos amigos, hemos ido a ver las luces bailarinas, como los llama Tory, y hemos disfrutado poner un nuevo nombre de Jesús en un árbol de franela. Tory disfruta escojer dónde va a ir la decoración cada día. :)

Snow Fun!

Well, the snow just fell but these pictures are from a snowfall from a couple weeks ago... we found a hill a few blocks away and really had a great time together! :) Many times we would start looking down and mid way our sled would get turned around... thankfully that did not happen when the two girls did it on their own :)

Bueno, la nieve acaba de caer nuevamente, pero éstas fotos son de hace un par de semanas.... encontramos una colinita cerca de la casa y sí que nos divertimos juntos!! :) Muchas veces al bajar la colina ya no mirábamos para abajo sino que para arriba, pero al menos no pasó mientras las dos niñas iban solas... :)
