Loving those animals!

Tory was fascinated with all the animals!  She was especially drawn to the birds and dogs.  The first parrots you see were not so tame, so she had to look from afar.  The second picture, the bird was VERY tame, and sat contentedly on Tory's arm.  The third bird was a baby dove that was found in my sister's house.  She was also able to hold that sweet, little bird.  And the dogs!! So easy going, letting her climb all over them

A Tory le facinaron los animales que vió!  Especialmente los pájaros y perros.  En la primera foto se tuvo que contentar con sólo ver a los pericos porque no son tan mansos.  Pero como pueden ver en las segunda foto, ese perico ya era bien mansito.  Tranquilo se sentaba en el brazo de Tory.  En la tercera foto, encontramos una palomita bebé que también era bien mansita.  Y los perros! Nos les importaba que Tory se subiera en cima de ellos! :)

We also visited my family in Santa Ana.  :) Her cousins, Elizabeth and Jonathan loved jumping on the trampoline with her and were great at making her laugh.  She also got to know her Auntie Kelly and Uncle Jon, and of course, Grandpa and Grandma!!  

También visitamos a mi familia en Santa Ana. :) Sus primos, Elizabeth y Jonathan disfrutaron saltar con Tory en el trampolín y les gustaba tratar de hacer reír a Tory.  También pudo conocer mejor a su Tia Kelly, Tio Jon, y por supuesto a la abuela y al abuelo. :)

The BEACH!! :)

Of course, a trip to El Salvador isn't quite complete without a visit to the ocean! We saw some beautiful sunsets and Edwin recovered his true color. :)

Naturalmente, un viaje a El Salvador no es completo sin una visita al mar! Vimos unas atardeceres bellas y Edwin ya recupero su color natural... :)

It is amazing the difference a year makes! Last Christmas, Tory was only 4 months old, barely reaching out to grab things! Now, here she is, almost running, and babbling happily away.  Edwin's family took us to a beautiful mountain called MiraMundo, or Lookout to the World.  Tory had a blast with her cousins: Alejandro and Gabriela.

Es asombroso la diferencia que hace un año en la vida de un niño.  La Navidad pasada Tory solo tenía 4 meses y apenas agarraba cosas.  Ahora casi corre y hace ruiditos, tratando de hablar.  La familia de Edwin nos llevó a una bella montaña llamada MiraMundo.  Tory disfrutó mucho con sus primos: Alejandro y Gabriela.
