Tres semanas este verano volaron con la visita maravillosa de la mami de Edwin, Carmen, y los dos hijos de la hermana mayor de Edwin, Ale (10.8) y Gaby (7). Pasamos los primeros dias en casa, jugando en el jardin.

Un dia pudimos ver una exhibición de rocas y minerales en la biblioteca local cuando visitó un museo. :)
Tory and Gaby were able to visit the Mushroom Park, as we call it, during Natalias naptime one day. They did not mind the frigid water, but Alejandro still remembered how it felt from the last time we visited this park last year, and he opted to stay home. :) But at a visit to my parents house on a different occasion, he was able to catch a large fish! :)
Un día durante la siesta de Natalia, llevé a Tory y a Gaby a una piscinita. A ellas nos les molestó la temperatura heladísima del agua, pero Ale aún de acordaba de cómo se sintió esa agua y decidió mejor no ir.... :) Pero, en una visita a la casa de mis papás, pudo pescar un gran pez! :)
The first Saturday they were here, since Edwin was able to be with us, we decided to head of to Walla Walla and show this cute town off! :) And Edwin was able to use his photography skills to showcase some cute faces!

El primer Sábado libre, como ya nos podía acompañar Edwin, decidimos ir a mostrarles el pueblito que tanto nos gusta: Walla Walla. :) Y Edwin pudo usar su habilidad de fotógrafo para capturar unas lindas caras!
We did quite a few water acitivites... especially in this heat!
Tuvimos varias actividades con agua... especialment con el calor del verano!
The first weekend of July, beginning on Gabys birthday (Yay!!), we headed off to Portland! We stopped for a picnic next to the Columbia River on the way. It was so beautiful! Alejandro and Edwin were able to see a soccer game, and we were able to visit the Portland Zoo!!
El primer fin de semana en Julio, empesamos nuestra aventura celebrando el cumpleaños de Gaby (Felicidades!!). Luego, nos dirigimos a Portland, la ciudad favorita de Edwin. Paramos para comer al lado de el Rio Columbia. Fue hermoso! Alejandro y Edwin pudieron ir a un partido de fútbol y pudimos visitar el zológico!! :)
We broke our scenic route home in half by stopping to camp at Camp Memaloose for one night! :) Alejandro, Gaby, and Carmen had never been camping before, so this was a fun experience!

El viaje de regreso a casa fue muy bonito, y a medio camino, paramos para acampar una noche en el campamento Memaloose. Alejandro, Gaby y Carmen nunca habían acampado así que fue una experienca divertida! :)
A few last pictures before the cousins had to part for a time. So much fun! Thank you for visiting us!! We cant wait to see you again soon! :)
