At the park.... again :)

Tory counting

This is just a silly moment I was able to capture.  I think Tory is trying to count... :)

Seattle

Tory and I took a quick trip to Seattle to pick Irma up from the airport.  It was so awesome to see Paul and Michele.  They are living in SUCH a beautiful home!  The neighborhood is beautiful so Tory and I thought we'd take a walk.  Only bummer . . . it was drizzling (really? yes. drizzle.) So I had to improvise for Tory and throw an additional sweater on her. :)

So Tory and I are walking around the neighborhood and there are all these beautiful homes! See this one? So nice! Now look closer.  See anything on the fence posts?  What are those lovely things?
Tan linda! Ahora mirenlo más de cerca.  Ven algo en los postes? Que son esas cosas?

Yes, those rusty cans are actually SUPPOSED to be there! Seattle art, for you.

Visiting Nana and Papa

We are so blessed to have my grandparents close by!  To not confuse Tory, we have started calling them Nana and Papa... and many times we slip back to good old Grandpa and Grandma. Tory absolutely LOVES hanging out with them.... Grand, I mean, Nana is growing her little seedlings, which is fascinating, and you can always catch Gr, I mean Papa, building or cutting something in the "workshop".  :) Recently, they were able to get some barrels from Edwin's work, and Gra, I mean, Papa cut them in half, so they will have somewhere to plant all those seedlings! :)  He also just finished making a beautiful changing table/dresser from my brother, Paul and my sister-in-law, Michele.  They are about to introduce our new little niece, Kiera, to all of us very soon! :)

Smelling the Roses...

Yeah... a little over-baked on the left, not baked enough on the right and baked just right there in the middle! :)  Sorry for the blurry pics... but when she laughs, she won't sit still, what's up with that?
Pues . . :)

Ahh... my sweet husband gave me these beautiful roses!! :) Sounds like we just tasted them! :)

Ah... sugar!

Here is Tory discovering the eggs actually have good things to eat inside of them! :)

La Pascua

Tammy and Rob had some of us over for an Easter Potluck.  Tory had her first experience looking for eggs, and it was fun for her to be able to hang out with Ciel, Lauren, Claire, Reuben, and Asher in the park! :)  Thank you for opening up your home to us!

Christmas gifts?

Tory received some money for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa (Mom and Dad), but we just now got her what I had been waiting for.  She has had a good time digging in her sand (ok, dirt) box while I work in the garden... but I must say, her most favorite thing has been the super bubble blower!  She wanted me to do it ALL the time... we went through the bubble solution bottle in about 2 hours!  I've learned how to sort of make my own because of her endless craving for more bubbles!  Thank you, Grandpa and Grandma!! :)  Oh! And Tory's fascination of animals continues...we have been adopted by a black cat that always comes over to visit . . . and I must say, is more friendly than Zidane!
