Natalia is one....

Incredibly, Natalia is now one! I still get to hold her in my arms and rock her to sleep, but this year went by way too fast! Our baby girl is toddling around, gaining confidence to walk on her own. She goes farther on her own every day. Her giggles are so adorable and contagious. It is easy to get her to laugh. :) She is very ticklish, and loves to play peek-a-boo. She plays independently very well. She crawls all over the house and usually ends up in Tory bedroom, playing with her toys, especially if they light up and make noise. She is not so fond of taking baths, and wants out as soon as possible. But then, she loves to cuddle, so I do not mind that too much. :) She is sleeping all through the night, from 7pm-about 6am, and takes two naps a day, for now.

We celebrated her birthday twice. The first time was at Nana and Papas house. She was hesitant about touching the cake and was not sure what to do with the wrapping on the gifts, but Tory quickly showed her how. :)
¡Increiblemente, Natalia ya cumplió un año! Aún la puedo tener en mis brazos y arurullarla hasta que se duerme, pero éste año pasó demasiado rápido. Nuestra bebé ya empieza a cobrar confiana en caminar sola más y más. Cada día camina más lejos. Tiene una risa adorable y contagioso. Es muy fácil hacer que se ría :) Tiene muchas cosquillas. También juega independientemente muy bien. Gatea por toda la casa y casi siempre termina en el cuarto de Tory, jugando con algo que hace ruido y tiene luces. No le gusta mucho bañarse y quiere que la saque lo más pronto posible. Pero como después simpre la puedo chinear, así que no me molesta mucho. :) Ya duerme toda la noche, desde las 7 de la noche hasta como las 6 de la mañana y toma dos siestas al día, por ahora.

Le celebramos su cumpleaños dos veces. La primera vez fue en la casa de los abuelitos. No sabía qué hacer con el pastel ni con el papel de empaque, pero Tory le enseñó rápidamente. :)

Her second celebration was at home, with our group of preschool friends. This time she seemed to know what to do with the cupcake... and went for it! :) The older girls love to dance to music and make a circle, and Natalia thought that was pretty fun.

Su segunda celebración fue en nuestra casa con el grupo de niños con quien hacemos Kinder 4 una vez a la semana. Esta vez como que sebía mejor qué hacer con el pastel. :) A las niñas mayores les gusta bailar a la música y hacer una rueda, y Natalia pensó que eso estaba divertido.
