Headband silliness . . .

Some of you already saw these pictures, so sorry for the repeat, but some people I know don't use facebook as much as others (if at all) . . . . :)  Tory is all about copying whatever I or others do. She also does a good share of leading, especially at the playground, but like any kid, she imitates well.  :)  She is talking a lot more.  She has three little play fish she got at a birthday party last weekend that she can now not live without.  So, at bed or naptime she always says, "Ishy?" (meaning fishies). I bring them to her and right away she says, "Tank u!"  I'm also trying to get her to say, "No, thank you" when she doesn't want to do something, instead of the tantrum sounding, "uuuuuuuuuuu!" sound she can make.  So it is really cute to hear her say in a begging tone, "No, tank u! No, tank u!"  :)  It is hard to then not give her her bath or leave the park.  :)  Another cute thing Edwin taught her is to give a high five and the "rock" - a balled fist to fist bump.  When she is done doing that with "Da-da" she then says, "Mama?" and looks for me to also do them with me.  :) That is how we finally got her to call me something.  It is so neat to hear her call me something finally! :)   Her other phrase is, "Deh di ti?" Which is "where is it?" - you can tell by the tone.... :)  Then when we find whatever it is, she says, "Deh ti tis!" which is "There it is!" also known by the tone. :)  Well, I still have to translate this, so I better stop. :) Enjoy the pics!

Unas personas ya vieron estas fotos, asi que perdón por la repetición, pero otras personas no usan el facebook, así que quería compartirlas aquí también. :)  Tory está en una etapa ahorita de copiar todo lo que uno hace! También tiene sus tiempos cuando quiere que hagan lo que ella está haciendo, pero como todo niño, le gusta imitar.  También está hablando más.  En una fiesta de cumpleaños la semana pasada le regalaron unos pecesitos de juguete de recuerdo y ahora no puede estar sin ellos!  Los quiere tener en sus manos todo el tiempo.  Cuando es hora de acostarse, siempre me pregunta, "Ishy?" lo cual es "fishie" o peces? y cuando se los traigo, dice "tank u" o gracias.  También le estoy tratando de enseñar a decir "No thank you" o no gracias, porque cuando no quiere hacer algo echa unos gemidos y asi no suena tan mal.  Es dificil, luego no bañarla o irnos del parque cuando bien tiernamente me está diciendo "No, tank u! No tank u!"  También Edwin le ha enseñado a darle 5 y pegar un puño contra otro y cuando ha terminado eso, siempre dice - "Mamá!"  y me busca para hacerlo con migo también.  Es chivo que porfín me llama "mama".  Otra cosa que ha aprendido es decir "Salud!" aunque a ella le sale "alú!" cuando estornudamos y "gracias" le sale, "asas".   :)  Está aprendiendo bien los dos idiomas. :)  Bueno, disfruten las fotos! :)
