The blessing of friends . . .

Tory and I have been able to hang out with a couple of good friends in the past two weeks.... one of those is Erica and Annie.  Annie and Tory first started hanging out last year when Erica would watch Tory for me one or two times when my grandma couldn't.  They formed a fast friendship. :)  One story I have to tell happened last week at the park.  We were having a BBQ with Edwin's Mexico group, meeting some missionaries.  Tory and I were playing in the playground area when suddenly we see Annie and her family coming toward us.  Well, Tory took off running towards Annie, yelling happily, arms outstretched.   Until she hit the path between the grass.  Yes, she tripped and fell flat.  But she was so ready to get to Annie, she didn't care. She got up as soon as possible, no crying, and kept running until she met up with Annie! :)   

Another friend she is getting to know is Claire.  Sarah and Claire came over for dinner and after making sure Claire wasn't going to be taking any of Tory's toys home with her, she began to enjoy her.  They played in the yard and ending up taking a bath together! :)  So cute!

Tory y yo hemos podido pasar buenos momentos con un par de amigas en las últimas dos semanas.  Unas  amigas son Erica y Annie.   Annie y Tory empesaron a pasar tiempo juntas cuando Erica me cuidaba a Tory las veces que no lo podía hacer mi abuela.  Formaron una buena amistad rápidamente.  Una historia que tengo que contar pasó la semana pasada.  Estabamos en el parque en una barbacoa con el grupo que fué a México con Edwin y Tory y yo estabamos jugando en los columpios cuando de lejos Tory vió que venía Annie.  Se echó a correr, gritando de felicidad, hacia Annie.  Iba bien hasta que se encontró con el caminito que va entre la grama.  Si, ahí pegó el pavimento.  Pero estaba tan  emocionada de alcansar a Annie que se levantó lo más rápido que pudo, sin llorar y siguió corriendo hasta que llegó donde Annie.  :)

Otra buena amiga mía vino a cenar la otra noche y trajo a su hija, Claire, con ella.  Después de un tiempo de inseguridad, donde Tory se aseguró de que Claire no se iba a llevar sus juguetes a su propia casa, la empesó a disfrutar.  Jugaron un buen rato afuera y luego hasta terminaron tomandose un baño juntas!  Tan lindas! :)
