Okay.... this is a funny one... :) Edwin invited anyone from the Mexico team who wanted, to come over and watch The Phantom of the Opera. So, here's a picture of the gang... and of course, they oohed and aahed over beautiful Tory.... :)
Bueno, esto es chistoso.... :) Edwin invitó a los jóvenes que fueron a México a venir a ver El Fantasma de la Opera (un musical). Estos son los que llegaron... y por supuesto ¡les encantó ver a nuestra bella Victoria!















Unfortunately, this video came out dark, but it is so cute, because she starts out laughing in her sleep and ends up in a coughing fit... :)

Uncle Paul and Aunt Michele Visit

Paul was in Costa Rica when Tory was born, and Michele came to visit during the week she was supposed to be born, but Tory was stubborn and came a day or two after Michele left.... but, Michele was able to meet her a week after she was born when we went to Seattle to drop off my parents at the airport. Well, Paul just recently returned from Costa Rica so they both came over the mountains to visit and meet Tory...we had a great time! :)
Pablo andaba en Costa Rica cuando nació Victoria y Michele vino a visitar durante la semana que debió haber nacido pero Victoria fue terca y vino uno o dos dias después de que se fué Michele... pero ella la pudo conocer cuando tuvo una semana de nacida cuando fui a Seattle a dejar a mis papás al aeropuerto. Bueno, como Pablo recientemente regresó de Costa Rica, vinieron los dos a visitar y conocer a Victoria... ¡Nos divertimos mucho! :)

Reagan Marie

Tory now has a new cousin! :) My sister, Lisa, in Georgia, had a really hard labor, and finally had a C-section. Isn't she beautiful? She weighed 8 lbs. 6 oz. (we make big babies, it seems), and was 21 and a half inches long. She was born 25 days after Tory, on September 24.
¡Victoria ahora tiene una nueva prima! Mi hermana, Lisa, en Georgia, tuvo un parto bien duro y porfin la llevaron a cesaria. ¿No es hermosa? Pesó 8 libras, 6 onzas (¡nosotras tenemos bebés grandes!) y midió 21 y medio pulgadas. Nació 25 dias después de Victoria, el 24 de septiembre.

Well, they both have cute, little bows! :) ¡Bueno, las dos tienen una chonga chiquita y bonita! :)

Tory's tree

Fall is a great time to buy plants!! My uncle David and Aunt Mara told me about a 50% sale in Burbank so we went and found this white dogwood! I was very excited. Edwin then was able to plant it yesterday, thanks to the wonderful shovel lent to us by the very generous Landons. So, now Tory has her very own tree. Hopefully, it will bloom in the spring.
El otoño es una buena epoca para comprar plantas. Mi tio David y mi tia Mara me dijeron de una venta con el 50% de descuento en un pueblo no muy lejos asi que fuimos y encontré el árbol que quería. Se llama dogwood, pero no sé como es en español. Edwin lo pudo sembrar ayer gracias a la generosidad de los Landon en prestarnos su pala. Ahora, Victoria tiene su propio árbol. ¡Esperamos verlo brotar en la primavera!

My 70s (60s?) girl . . .

Tory received this adorable outfit . . . but since it's a little chilly, I added the white shirt and the socks . . . and she is so hip! :) Just needs some platform shoes!! :) I hope you're not too tired of all these pictures and videos . . . but so many family members can't see her in person, so we are trying to make up for it with pictures and videos! :) She is sleeping really well at night . . .going 4-5 hours at a time!! She naps pretty well during the day, eating every 2-3 hours...
Victoria recibió este traje . . . pero como está haciendo un poco de frio, agregé la camisa y los calcetines . . . ¡bien a la moda! :) ¡Solo necesita zapatos de plataforma! Espero que no estén muy cansados de tantas fotos y videos, pero con tanta familia que nunca la ha visto en persona, queremos poder compartir muchas fotos y videos con ustedes. Ella duerme muy bien de noche . . .va 4 a 5 horas sin despertarse y de día duerme bien y come cada 2 a 3 horas.

Well . . . my sister wanted to see pictures of Tory with her eyes open . . . so here we are, beginning at birth, then 1 week old for the next two, and finally, two weeks old with the last picture. Also, my dad reminded me of the video they had taken of Tory when she was just a day old of a cute/funny noise she made just those first two days of her life when she slept. . . you might have to turn up your volume to hear it . . . enjoy!
Bueno . . . mi hermana quería ver fotos de Victoria con sus ojos abiertos . . . así que, aqui hay unos. La primera foto es cabal cuando acababa de nacer, luego las siguientes dos son cuando tenía una semana y la última es ya de dos semanas. Mi papá también me recordó de un video que tomaron de ella al tener sólo un día de vida. Ella hiso este ruido chistoso/bonito cuando dormía . . . pero sólo lo hiso esos primeros dos días de vida.
