Molly

Recently, Tory, Natalia and I have been able to meet a few of our neighbors. :) Since Tory is now an avid bike rider, she is joined by other kids who also venture outside. One day we were the only ones out, doing our usual round, Tory on her bike, me pushing Natalia in the umbrella stroller, when we noticed a new bike rider cruising the block, all alone. We got to talking and found out that Molly was visiting her dad, who was in the process of moving out to be able to live closer to her. We only got to see Molly for three days, but they were awesome! She would come over each day, or we would meet outside. She was a great playmate to a much younger Tory, and she was enthralled with Natalia. She even borrowed our huge evenflo stroller so she could push around her own baby doll all over the neighborhood. Eventually, she got to do the real thing, and push Natalia around. She kept begging to hold her, and I gradually gave her more rein until Natalia was fairly content in her arms. :) Sadly, she is gone.... but I wanted to commemorate her short visit with this post....

Recientemente, Tory, Natalia y yo hemos podido conocer a varios vecinos, pues como a Tory ahora le encanta andar en su bicicleta, ya tiene más en común con los vecinitos. Un día andábamos afuera en lo mismo: Tory en su bici y yo empujando a Natalia en el coche, cuando notamos una nueva cara en la vecindad, montando su bicicleta, sola. Empezamos a hablar y nos dimos cuenta de que solo estaba visitando a su papá mientras él se mudaba para ir a vivir más cerca de ella. Sólo pudimos jugar con Molly por tres días, pero fueron de maravilla. Ella nos venía a buscar cada día o nos encontrábamos en la calle. Jugaba tan bien con Tory, quien era mucho más jóven y estaba facinada con Natalia. Hasta prestó nuestro coche para andar a su muñeca. Pero eventualmente la dejé empujar mejor a una bebé real. También me rogaba dejarla cargar a Natalia y gradualmente dejé que la cargara sola. Tristemente, Molly ya no está por aquí, pero quería conmemorarla aquí.
