Edwin Nesting

Yeah, so Edwin has been A. MA. ZING! :) and nesting.... first of all, he has been working 6 days a week for at least 10 hours each day, since the end of Aug., for the harvest season. On top of that, he has been pulling up old carpet so the *new* carpet can go down in the bedrooms, as well as pulling up old carpet and hacking away at the entrance tile, to lay the bamboo with my grandpa! WOW! And he did all this in the span of 2 weeks (more like a week and a day). The nice thing about having to take out every single item in any given room is that it forces you to go through everything, get rid of stuff you do not really need, and organize a bit (which is where my nesting kicked in). It is so rewarding to sit back, now, and admire all that hard work paying off. And doing it all before Natalia arrived is wonderful! :) Thank you, Edwin! You are awesome! Thank you, Grandpa and Grandma for so much help cutting and laying and the finishing touches!! And thank you, Aunt Paul and Uncle Dean for the wonderful carpet! (Oh, and just in case you were wondering, we do still have a cat.... ha! ha!)

Sí, Edwin ha sido asombroso!! Encima de trabajar 6 días a la semana por por lo menos 10 horas al día, desde el final de agosto, también ha levantado toda la alfombra en los tres cuartos para que se pudiera poner la alfombra *nueva* (regalada). También tuvo que quitar toda la alfombra de la sala y el corredor y con la ayuda de mi abuelo, poner el nuevo piso de bamboo!! E hiso todo eso en el transcurso de 2 semanas (más como una semana y dias). Lo bueno de tener que sacar todos los muebles de cada cuarto es que te obliga a sortear y botar 9o donar) cosas que no se usan y ordenar un poco. Ahora es tan bonita sentarse y admirar los resultados de todo ese trabajo. Y haberlo hecho antes de la llegada de Natalia también. ¡¡Gracias Edwin!! ¡Gracias abuelito y abuelita por su ayuda! ¡Gracias tía y tío por la alfombra! :) (Ah! y por si se preguntaban.... todavía existe nuestra gata, Zidane!)

Natalia's room... not quite done yet.... Notice Edwin's painting on the white shelf (isn't that cool?), and yes, we are still missing an N in her name.... El cuarto de Natalia . . . aún sin terminar . . . Noten la pintura que hizo Edwin que está en el estante blanco (¿no es bonito?) y sí, aún nos falta la N en su nombre.... :)
