Fall Frenzy '08

Third year and counting . . . can you find me? hint: ARG!  Every year for the past three years, our church goes to the school I used to teach at and in each classroom different games are set up for the children to play and do Halloween (we call it Fall Frenzy instead) in a safe environment.  It is kind of like a fair only it is inside a school and everybody is dressed up. Well, we were in charge of Pumpkin Bowling and Pumpkin Golf.    If you are wondering, Edwin is dressed up as  . . . um . . . "Mr. Happy".  I tried to get Tory used to my costume when at home, but every time I put on the black wig, well, she wigged out on me.  (HA HA!)  So, instead of suffering through a very scary evening (for her), I decided to leave her with "nana" and she had a blast! While we spent a very busy two hours cheering, encouraging, smiling, giving out bowling and golf balls, and putting the bowling pins back up (over and over and over again).

El tercer año ya . . . ¿me pueden encontrar? Pista: ARG!!  Nuestra iglesia ha ido a la escuela donde yo enseñaba antes durante esta época de Halloween y en cada salón ponen un juego para que los niños de la escuela y la vecindad puedan ir a un lugar seguro para celebrar el Halloween. Es casi como ir a la feria sólo que está adentro de una escuela y todos están disfrasados.  Nosotros estabamos encargados de los juegos de "Boliche de Calabaza" y  "Golf de Calabaza".  Si están tratando de adivinar de qué está disfrasado Edwin, pues es . . . ah . . . "El Sr. Feliz". Yo traté de acostumbrar Tory a mi disfraz pero cada vez que me ponía la peluca negra se asustaba así que mejor la llevé donde mi abuela para que disfrutara el tiempo ahí en vez de pasar asustada con nosotros.  Pasamos dos horas muy ocupados haciendoles barra a los niños, sonriéndoles, dándoles pelotas de boliche y de golf y reponiendo los pines de boliche un vez tras otra, tras otra, tras otra.
