here and there

A few weeks ago, most of our care group from church got to go to a Newsboys concert together. That was fun . . . I was blown away by a rotating drummer! :) and an awesome testimony from the lead singer.  You could feel God's presence and it was very cool to be able to worship at a concert! :)

Hace un par de semanas pudimos ir a un concierto de los Newsboys con una mara de la iglesia. Fue muy divertido . . . me impresionó el que tocó la batería! :)  y el cantante principal dió su testimonio.  Se podía sentir la precencia de Dios y fue chivo poder adorarlo en un concierto! :)

Every now and then Tory gets to see a friend . . . Annie. :) Sometimes she comes over, sometimes we go over to her house.  She is two years older than Tory, but they get along so great! Here they are having a tea party (Annie had to show Tory what a tea party was first!), and having fun in the bike-buggy going to the park! Yeah!!  Next, is a pic of my cousin before his prom . . . such a handsome dude.  And I can't leave without a short video of Tory.  Her latest entertainment is trying to put on her shoes all by herself . . . she'll sit there in front of the closet have all her shoes scattered all around her, trying one pair after another on.  She has allowed me to show her how to lift up the tongue and have the laces untied, but she can't quite get the shoe over her heel yet!  See, Yolanda, she felt your love of shoes even before she came out of the belly! :) hee, hee!!

De ves en cuando Tory puede jugar con su amiguita . . . Annie! :) A veces ella viene donde nosotros y otras veces vamos donde ella.  Tiene dos años más que Tory pero se llevan super bien! Aqui están compartiendo el té (Annie le tuvo que enseñar cómo imaginarse tomando té primero) y también están disfrutando su tiempo en el carruajito en camino al parque! Viva!! La siguiente foto es de mi primo antes de ir al gran baile de fin de año de su escuela . . . tan guapo! Y no me puede despedir sin dejarles un video de Tory.  Ahora lo que le gusta hacer es tratar de ponerse todos los zapatos que tiene en el closet . . . pero sin ayuda, por favor!  Ahí se quede sentada casi media hora con todos sus zapatos alrededor de ella, probandose zapatos.  Me ha dejado enseñarle que es más fácil si se levanta la lengua del zapato pero todavía no logra pasar el zapato encima de su (heel que es? tobillo? no ma acuerdo, lo siento). Tory aprendió a amar zapatos de Yolanda, pues aya andabamos viendo zapatos cuando Tory aun no habia nacido! :) ja, ja!
