Tory's Happy Birthday!!

Ok, little story I must write for memory's sake: I was not very smart, and told Tory about a week and a half before her birthday, that soon we would be going to Pizza Hut to celebrate her birthday. Oh, wow!! She was so excited! She then kept asking, Tory's Happy Birthday? Especially if we went out for another activity. Every time, I tried to explain that she still needed to go nigh-night, and wake up, (about 5 more times) before we could have her Happy Birthday. But the day did finally arrive and boy did it live up to all her anticipation! She absolutely LOVES the Pizza Hut mascot, called Pizza Puch, and unlike Pizza Huts in the States, ALL Pizza Huts in El Salvador also have a play area (what smart people!!!). She also finally did well having a clown. He was awesome: not too loud, or overwhelming... just funny enough to make it fun, not offensive. And she did great with the piñata, too, since she had a few times where she was able to get used to how the whole piñata thing works, thanks to the VBS team that we worked with a few weeks back. Thank you to all who made this such a special day for Tory!! I cant believe she is now three!! :)

Bueno, tengo que escribir un pequeño cuento para los recuerdos . . . no fui muy inteligente al decirle a Tory que pronto ibamos a ir a Pizza Hut para celebrar su cumpleaños. Se lo dije como una semana y media antes del evento! Pues, cada vez que saliamos de la casa, ella esperaba que ya ibamos a celebrar su Happy Birthday. Cada vez, le tuve que explicar que aun faltaban varias veces para que durmiera y se levantara antes que sucediera su Happy Birthday. Pero tanta paciencia de parte de ella si que valio la pena. Se divirtio TANTO con su fiesta alli con el Pizza Puch y todos los primitos y amiguitos! También disfrutó tanto al payaso y la piñata... y su cosa preferida, desde luego, fué soplar las velas después de oír su adorada canción de Happy Birthday! :) No hay palabras suficientes para agradecerles a todos los que ayudaron a preparar para esta fiesta y a los que vinieron a celebrar este día con nosotros.... Gracias de todo corazón.... fue un día muy, muy especial! Los queremos mucho!
