Retreat!! :)

So . . . May 19-21st, we went on a fun retreat up in the mountains (sorry, don't remember where) with our care group, two other care groups (New Covenants and Carrs), and the Baders. We had an awesome time, listening to Jon share, and growing closer as a care group as we shared experiences with each other. Here are some pictures of us having some fun out in the sun, playing frisbee, soccer, capture the flag . . . and as you can see, we had a couple mishaps! :)
Bueno . . . del 19 al 21 de mayo fuimos en un retiro muy divertido en las montañas (no me acuerdo donde) con nuestro group pequeño de la iglesia, otros dos grupos pequeños y los Baders. Tuvimos un tiempo super divertido, escuchando a Jon compartir con nosotros y conociendonos mejor en nuestro propio grupo pequeño al compartir experiencias unos con otros. Aquí hay unas fotos de nosotros jugando frisbee, futból, agarrar la bandera en el sol . . . y como pueden ver, hubieron unos golpes pequeños.


















Our care group was in charge of making breakfast both mornings . . . here we are, dicing, mixing, frying, cooking, and having a good time working together.
Nuestro grupo pequeño estaba encaragado del desayuno ambas mañanas. . . aquí estamos cortando, friendo, cocinando y divertiendonos al trabajar juntos.























Naturally, Edwin and Andy had to do SOMETHING creative with our left over pancake batter, so what better then to remember Brady's birthday with a GARGANTUAS pancake and song.
Naturalmente, Edwin y Andy TENIAN que hacer algo creativo con lo que quedó de la masa para hacer panqueques . . . y que mejor manera de celebrar el cumpleaños de Brady que con un panqueque GIGANTESCO y una canción.













So, here are some pictures of the cabins we stayed in. If it looks a little strange on the inside . . . well, that's because SOME PEOPLE thought it would be fun to "decorate" our cabins. But don't worry, our revenge will be sweet.
Aqui hay unas fotos de las cabañas donde nos quedamos. Si se miran un poco raros por dentro, es porque unas PERSONAS pensaron que sería divertido "decorar" nuestras cabañas. Pero no se preocupen . . . nuestra venganza será dulce.
















We also had a little talent show our last night. Here are some of the "shows" that were put on. Definitely check out the video of our care group's talent, thanks to THE talent and patience of our very own percussionist, BEN Chambres.
